Comfort-Aire BG Series Air Outlet Assembly

This genuine Appliance Factory Parts air outlet assembly replaces legacy part numbers CMF1212020300A23009 and CMF12120300A06796. It is designed specifically for Comfort-Aire room air conditioners and fits five listed models including BG-81P, BG-101P, BG-123P, BG-121P and BG-103P. The part ships new and ready for installation.

Installation Notes and Common Issues

The assembly mounts directly into the unit chassis using the original fastener locations so no drilling or adaptation is required. Technicians report that the plastic louvers can become brittle after several heating seasons so handle the replacement gently during insertion. Verify the old gasket is fully removed to prevent air leakage around the new housing.

Critical Fit Verification

Confirm your unit model number matches BG-81P, BG-101P, BG-103P, BG-121P or BG-123P before ordering because this assembly does not fit other Comfort-Aire series or competitor brands. The part number CMF12120300A23009 is the sole identifier for this specific outlet configuration.
