Appliance Factory Parts 18642 Grid Porc Wire appliance part

Replacement Grid Porc Wire for Broil-Mate

This replacement grid porc wire is designed for specific Broil-Mate and Sterling gas grills. It serves as a direct substitute for the original cooking grate on 46 Broil-Mate models and 52 Sterling models listed by the manufacturer. The part restores the cooking surface when the factory grate has worn out or been damaged.

Dimensions and compatibility constraints

The grate measures 19 1/8 by 12 1/8 inches, matching the original specification formerly identified as S12007. It fits only the exact model numbers listed for the two brands; grills not included in those lists will not accept this part. Buyers who need a different size or a universal-fit grate cannot use this component.

Simple drop-in installation

Installation requires lifting the old grate out and setting this one in its place, with no tools or fasteners needed. The wire construction seats directly on the existing support ledges inside the firebox. The most common issue is ordering the wrong part for a model that looks similar but is not on the approved list, leading to a grate that does not sit level or leaves gaps.
