Replacement Switch for Whirlpool 3020XKQ

This genuine Appliance Factory Parts switch carries part number 3148953OEM and is built for the 3020XKQ range. It controls the large eight-inch surface element despite some catalogues listing it as the small burner. The component is supplied new and ready to install.

Corrects a Common Catalogue Error

Many parts look-ups identify 3148953OEM as the small-burner switch, but the manufacturer confirms it operates the large burner. Owners replacing the small burner should order part 3149404 instead. Swapping the wrong switch leaves the large element without control.

Verify Model and Burner Size Before Ordering

Confirm your range carries the exact model number 3020XKQ and that the element you are repairing is the eight-inch large burner. Cross-reference the original part number on the existing switch with 3148953OEM. Installing this part on a different model or on the small burner will not restore correct operation.
