Compatible Grill Rack

The Appliance Factory Parts 42222-194 rack is a stainless-steel wire grid built for Broil King grills. It fits six specific models including 9236-10, 9236-12, 9236-13, 9236-13NZ, 9236-14 and 9236-17. Owners of those barbecues can replace a damaged or missing original rack with this direct-fit part.

Cooking Surface Capacity

The rack provides a single level of wire cooking space for grilling meats, vegetables or side dishes. Its open wire design allows heat and smoke to circulate around food for even results. It does not add a second tier or expand the grill's total footprint, so large gatherings may still require batch cooking.

Replacement Upgrade Path

This part replaces a worn, warped or rusted factory rack on the listed Broil King models. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original grid no longer holds food securely or shows heavy corrosion. It is not for owners of other grill brands, different Broil King series, or buyers needing extra racks beyond the single unit supplied.

Questions about this item

Will this 42222-194 rack fit my Broil King 9236-10 grill alongside the original grates?

Yes, the supplier lists the 42222-194 as compatible with six Broil King models including the 9236-10, so it installs alongside the existing grates on that unit.

How can I confirm the 5 mm stainless wire rack is seated correctly after installation?

The rack should sit level on the V-shaped supports with no wobble; a gentle push should not dislodge it from the side rails.

Does the box contain only the 42222-194 rack or are mounting clips included?

The part is sold as a single rack unit; any clips or fasteners required for your specific 9236 model must be sourced separately.
