Installation Fit And Clearance

The tank slides into the existing stove or lantern housing without modification. Its 12 by 5 by 3.5 inch shipping carton shows the outer envelope the component occupies. No additional fittings or adapters are required beyond the original hardware.

Sustained Use Reliability

The metal construction resists corrosion during extended trips and repeated refuelling cycles. Seams remain sealed under normal operating pressure so fuel delivery stays consistent. The unit weighs 1.6 lbs when packaged, indicating a sturdy wall thickness for long service life.

Questions about this item

How long does the 1.6 lb tank last on a Coleman 425F stove at full output?

Burn time varies with flame setting and ambient temperature; the 1.6 lb weight is the packaged mass, not the fuel capacity.

Does the 425B1651 tank get hot or hiss during all-day use on a 425E stove?

The metal tank warms during normal operation; a faint hiss is typical as fuel vaporises.

What regulator or hose must I already own to connect this tank to a Coleman 3000000492 appliance?

The tank uses the standard Coleman propane cylinder thread; no separate regulator or hose is required.
