Genuine Kirby Generation 4/5 Bag Pack

This nine-count pack supplies direct-fit replacement bags for Kirby Generation 4, Generation 5 and Generation 6 uprights. Each bag matches the V294M-9 pattern specified by the manufacturer. Homeowners maintaining these models can restore full filtration without adapting generic alternatives.

Consistent Filtration Across Multiple Cleaning

The multi-layer construction holds fine dust and allergens through extended use rather than collapsing after a single heavy pickup. Airflow remains steady as the bag fills, so suction loss is gradual instead of abrupt. Households with pets or high foot traffic will see predictable performance between changes.

Simple Drop-In Installation With No Tools

Bags seat into the compartment by aligning the cardboard collar with the moulded guides; no clips, screws or adhesives are required. The most common error is inserting the bag upside down, which blocks the inlet port and triggers the full-bag indicator prematurely. A quick visual check of the arrow on the collar prevents this.

Questions about this item

Does the 9-pack of Kirby Gen 4/5 bags (part 49-2432-09) add any noticeable motor noise or heat during extended cleaning sessions?

These are passive filter bags with no moving parts, so they do not generate noise, heat or extra power draw while the vacuum runs.

Must I already own a Kirby Generation 4, Generation 5 or Generation 6 vacuum for the 49-2432-09 bags to fit?

Yes — the bags are designed specifically for Kirby Generation 4, Generation 5 and Generation 6 models and will not fit other brands or Kirby series.

Will the 49-2432-09 bags work alongside the original Kirby cloth bag and fill-tube assembly I still use on my Generation 5?

They replace the disposable inner bag only; the existing outer cloth bag and fill tube stay in place and function exactly as before.
