Natural gas pilot assembly fits Lennox and Lennox Hearth fireplace models including 3328 and 3530 series
This pilot assembly supplies natural gas to compatible Lennox and Lennox Hearth fireplaces. It replaces the original component in models including the EBVI25, EBVI30, LMDV3530CNM and MPD3530CNM. The part restores reliable ignition for the listed appliances.
The assembly operates passively within the fireplace gas valve system. It draws no electrical power and produces no audible noise during normal operation. Heat exposure is limited to the pilot flame environment for which the component is rated.
The unit is sold individually as a direct replacement for part number 67L70. No additional brackets, tubing or electronic modules are supplied in the package. Installers must verify compatibility with the specific fireplace model before fitting.

Turn off the gas supply, remove the front glass panel, disconnect the old pilot tubing and thermocouple leads, mount the new assembly using the original bracket screws, reconnect the tubing and leads, then test for leaks before relighting.
Inspect the pilot flame annually for a steady blue pattern, clean the orifice with compressed air if the flame becomes yellow or noisy, and verify the thermocouple output stays within the valve’s specified millivolt range.
The pilot orifice can carbonise over long heating seasons, reducing gas flow and causing an unstable flame that eventually fails to keep the thermocouple hot enough to hold the gas valve open.
