Genuine Type U replacement bags

This ten-pack of OEM Royal Type U paper bags fits Royal upright vacuums across thirty-six listed models and the Dirt Devil Ultra MVP Upright. Each bag is a direct substitute for part numbers including R-66247, 3-920048-001 and 920048. Shoppers needing a different bag type or a non-paper filter will not find a match here.

Filtration and airflow maintenance

The paper construction traps dust and allergens while allowing air to pass through the vacuum motor at the designed rate. A fresh bag restores suction lost to a full or torn bag and keeps the motor from overheating due to restricted flow. No washable or HEPA-grade media is included in this pack.

Simple drop-in installation

Each bag slides into the upright's bag compartment without tools or adapters, aligning with the collar used on the compatible Royal and Dirt Devil models. The ten-count package supplies enough replacements for extended use before reordering. Builders looking for cloth bags, carbon layers or a different capacity should select another product.

Questions about this item

How do I install the type U paper bag in my Royal Ultra MVP Upright, and what step do people often miss?

Open the vacuum's bag compartment, remove the old bag by pulling its cardboard collar from the holder, insert the new bag's collar fully into the retaining slots until it clicks, then close the compartment lid securely so the seal engages.

When will I need to replace these bags, and is there a filter that needs changing too?

Replace each paper bag when the vacuum's full-bag indicator lights or suction drops noticeably; the Ultra MVP Upright also uses a separate motor-protection filter that should be checked every few bag changes and replaced if dirty or torn.

What is the first limitation I will hit during a long cleaning session with these bags?

The bag's paper media will reach its dust capacity first, causing the full-bag indicator to trigger and suction to fall until the bag is swapped for a fresh one from the 10 pack.
