Replaces Worn or Stretched Original Belts

Install this belt when the original drive belt stretches, slips or snaps during use. The jump is worth it when the brush roll stops spinning or the vacuum leaves debris on carpet. It restores proper agitation without requiring a new vacuum.

Handles Standard Upright Cleaning Tasks

The belt delivers enough grip for daily carpet and hard-floor cleaning on compatible uprights. It runs out of service life when the rubber cracks, loses elasticity or shreds under heavy load. Keep a spare on hand for uninterrupted maintenance.

Questions about this item

Does the 81-3123-08 belt fit my Dirt Devil Scorpion upright model 085807HD?

Yes, the 81-3123-08 belt is listed as a direct fit for Dirt Devil Scorpion upright models 085807HD, 085810 and 088160.

How do I install this belt on my Royal 088160 vacuum, and what step is often missed?

Unplug the vacuum, remove the bottom plate, loop the new 81-3123-08 belt over the motor shaft first, then stretch it onto the brush roll, and finally reseat the brush roll so its end caps lock into the housing — skipping the reseat step leaves the brush loose.

How often should I replace the 81-3123-08 belt on my Regina HDU500 vacuum?

Replace the 81-3123-08 belt every 6 to 12 months or sooner if you smell burning rubber, hear the brush roll slowing on carpet, or see visible cracks or stretching on the belt.
