Appliance Factory Parts 8205992 TRAY-COOK Microwave Glass Cooking Tray

Genuine Whirlpool microwave glass tray

This Whirlpool genuine OEM glass cooking tray replaces part number 8205992 in compatible microwave ovens. It measures approximately 12-1/4 inches in diameter and rotates at the centre of the cavity to promote even heating. The tray fits 26 listed Whirlpool models including GH7208 and GH6208 series units. Owners of other brands or unlisted models cannot use this replacement.

Continuous rotation for even cooking

During sustained operation the glass tray turns steadily on the microwave's drive coupling, distributing microwave energy across the food surface. The tempered glass construction withstands repeated heating cycles without warping. Cracked or chipped trays should be replaced immediately because damage can interrupt rotation and create hot spots.

Diameter and coupling constrain fit

The 12-1/4 inch diameter and centre drive configuration determine whether the tray seats correctly in a given cavity. Models outside the 26 specified Whirlpool part numbers may have different turntable couplings or cavity dimensions that prevent proper engagement. No adapter or alternative mounting method is supplied with this part.
