Replacement magnetron for microwave ovens

This magnetron generates the microwave energy used to heat food in compatible ovens. It is supplied as a new Appliance Factory Parts component with part number eas42812919. The part suits repair technicians and owners who need to restore heating function in a listed model.

Sustained operation and heat management

The magnetron is designed to produce continuous microwave output during cooking cycles. Proper cooling airflow inside the oven cavity is essential for stable performance over repeated use. Blocked vents or a faulty stirrer fan can reduce output and shorten the component's service life.

Compatibility check before ordering

Confirm that your appliance model appears in the supported lists for LG, Amana, Bosch, GE or Kenmore ranges. The part fits four Amana models, seventeen GE models, one Bosch model and multiple LG oven-range models. Cross-reference the exact model number on your unit before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the eas42812919 magnetron run hot or noisy when the microwave operates continuously?

The magnetron generates high heat during operation and requires the oven's built-in cooling fan and thermal cut-outs to manage temperature; noise level depends on the specific microwave model's fan design.

What existing components must my microwave already have for this magnetron to install and function?

Your microwave must provide the correct high-voltage transformer, capacitor, diode, waveguide flange, mounting brackets and filament wiring that match the original magnetron specification for the listed LG, Amana, Bosch, GE or Kenmore models.

Will this magnetron work in a GE JVM1790 series microwave that still uses its original high-voltage transformer and capacitor?

Yes, the eas42812919 is listed as a direct fit for GE JVM1790 models including JVM1790BKC, JVM1790WK, JVM1790SK and JVM1790CK variants, so it will operate with the factory transformer and capacitor.
