T-stat for Magic Chef MCSCWD20W

This replacement thermostat fits the Magic Chef MCSCWD20W washing machine. It restores accurate temperature control during wash and rinse cycles. The part is supplied new and ready for direct installation.

Replaces legacy part numbers MDA17400513000457

The component supersedes two earlier references used on the same appliance platform. Swapping to this current part number is worthwhile when the original thermostat drifts out of calibration or fails open circuit. It also covers ten Midea models including MFL70 variants from 2015 and 2016, CLC27N3AWW, MLC31N5AWW and USFC70DS12DSH series.

Stable regulation across repeated heating cycles

Under sustained load the thermostat maintains consistent cut-in and cut-out points without the hysteresis creep seen in aged sensors. This prevents temperature overshoot during long, high-temperature programmes and protects the heating element from short-cycling stress. Buyers needing a dual-element or electronic control board should look elsewhere.
