Compatible LG & Kenmore Washer-Dryer Models

This new tub inner hub replaces part number MEL61841406 in compatible LG and Kenmore washer-dryer units. It fits 64 listed LG models including WT7700HVA, WT7200CV, WT6001HV, WT5270HW and WT1201CV variants. It also fits eight Kenmore models such as 29478, 31512, 31523 and 796.29272010. The part restores the connection between the inner tub and drive system.

Direct Replacement Installation

The hub is a direct replacement for the original component and requires no modification to fit the listed models. Installation involves accessing the inner tub assembly, which typically means removing the top panel, drum and associated hardware. A common issue is corrosion or seized fasteners on the old hub, which can extend the repair time. Proper alignment during reassembly prevents wobble and noise.

Restores Drum Rotation Stability

The hub handles normal wash loads and spin cycles for the supported LG and Kenmore washer-dryer models. It transmits torque from the drive shaft to the inner tub without play when correctly installed. Excessive overloading or bearing failure elsewhere in the assembly can exceed the hub's mechanical limits and lead to premature wear or cracking.
