Replacement knob for Smokin Tex 1400

The Appliance Factory Parts STX1424 control knob fits the Smokin Tex 1400 model. It replaces a worn or damaged original knob on the smoker. Home cooks and pitmasters can restore precise temperature adjustment. The part is sold individually as a new component.

Direct fit for existing shaft

No tools or modifications are required to install the knob onto the smoker's control shaft. It frees the user from guessing heat levels when the original marker is illegible. The replacement maintains the factory layout of the control panel. Compatibility is limited to the 1400 model listed.

Passive component with no power draw

The knob adds no electrical load, noise or heat to the appliance. It operates mechanically within the smoker's existing temperature range. Durability matches the original part under normal smoking conditions. Buyers needing a complete control assembly should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How long does the STX1424 control knob last under daily smoking sessions?

The knob is built for the Smokin Tex 1400 and uses the same design across all models, so it matches the original part life.

Does the knob get hot or hard to turn after hours at temperature?

It sits on the 1400's control shaft away from the cooking chamber, so it stays cool and turns freely during long runs.

What must already be on the smoker for this STX1424 to fit?

The original control shaft on a Smokin Tex 1400 is required; the knob presses onto that shaft.
