Apricorn A25-3PL256-2000 2TB Encrypted Drive

This Apricorn A25-3PL256-2000 is a 2TB portable storage device featuring an integrated hardware keypad for authentication. It uses AES-XTS 256-bit encryption to secure data at rest without requiring software installation. The drive operates across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms via a standard USB connection. It is designed for users who need immediate, hardware-based privacy for sensitive files.

Suits users needing driver-free hardware encryption

This drive suits professionals handling confidential data who require FIPS-validated encryption algorithms and a tamper-evident design. It is not for buyers who want biometric unlocking, wireless access or cloud synchronisation features. Users needing capacities beyond 2TB or faster transfer speeds than standard USB allows should consider alternative storage solutions. The lack of software utilities also means it cannot enforce automated backup schedules.

What ships with the A25-3PL256-2000 and what must I provide?

The secure USB drive itself is included; you only need a host device with a standard USB port and an operating system that recognises external storage.
