Secure 128 GB USB 3.1 flash drive

The Apricorn Secure Key 3z provides 128 GB of hardware-encrypted storage in a silver metal housing. It is designed for professionals and organisations that must protect sensitive data while moving files between workstations. The drive requires no software installation and works on any host with a standard USB port.

Replaces unencrypted portable drives

Swapping a standard flash drive for this model adds FIPS-validated AES encryption and an onboard keypad for PIN entry. The upgrade is justified when regulatory compliance, intellectual-property protection or secure offline backups are mandatory. It is not suited for users who only need basic file transfer without authentication.

Driver-free setup with keypad unlock

Plug the drive into a USB 3.1 port, enter the user PIN on the built-in keypad, and the volume appears instantly. No admin rights or background services are required. The most common issue is a forgotten PIN; after ten failed attempts the drive permanently erases its encryption key and all stored data.
