Aquaterior Touchless Faucet and Vessel Sink Kit

This kit combines a 5-inch brass faucet in brush chrome with an 18-inch rectangle ceramic vessel sink and all mounting accessories. The touchless sensor activates water flow automatically to reduce waste and limit contact while soaping hands. A rotating mixing valve lets users select hot, warm or cold water for different needs. NSF, CUPC and CEC certifications confirm compliance with recognised plumbing standards.

Sensor Operation and Installation Constraints

The automatic induction sensor requires a power source not detailed in the supplied data, so installers must verify electrical provisions before fitting. The faucet spout reaches 2 3/4 inches with a height of 3 9/16 inches, limiting clearance for taller vessels or deep basins. Water temperature adjustment is manual via the mixing valve; no digital presets or memory functions are included. The compact 18-inch sink suits tight corners but offers less bowl capacity than larger models.

DIY Installation Notes and Common Issues

Mounting accessories and a pop-up drain with an extended hex nut are supplied for tool-free drain assembly. The deck plate measures 5 7/8 by 1 15/16 inches and requires a compatible countertop cut-out. Ceramic surfaces clean easily with a gloss finish but can chip if struck by heavy objects. Sensor calibration may need adjustment after installation to prevent false triggers or delayed shut-off.
