Archelon 15FN Cooling Pad

The Archelon 15FN is a laptop cooling pad built for large gaming notebooks up to 18.5 inches. It uses 15 fans rated at 2800-3200 RPM each to move high volumes of air across the chassis. The unit targets owners of 15, 15.6, 17, 17.3 and 18 inch laptops who need sustained thermal performance during long sessions.

Metal Frame With Adjustable Stands

A metal body provides rigidity while four adjustable stand positions raise the rear from 4.3 to 7.5 inches for ergonomic viewing angles. Two hidden anti-slip mats keep the laptop from sliding or scratching the surface. The pad measures 15.74 by 11.38 by 1.38 inches and includes RGB lighting with 10 selectable modes for visual customisation.

USB Power Limits And Size Constraint

All 15 fans draw power through the laptop's USB ports so total airflow is capped by the available current. The 18.5 inch diagonal footprint means the pad will not fit smaller bags or desks. Buyers who need passive cooling or a slimmer profile for ultraportables should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the USB interface limit the 15 fans running at 2800-3200 RPM?

The pad draws power through a single USB connection; all 15 fans share that 5 V supply, so total current is capped by the host port's rating.

What desk footprint and height clearance does the 15.74 x 11.38 x 1.38 inch frame need?

It occupies 15.74 by 11.38 inches on the desk and stands 1.38 inches tall before the adjustable risers add 4.3 to 7.5 inches of screen lift.

How do you set the four adjustable stands without blocking the two hidden anti-slip mats?

Flip the pad over, extend each stand until it clicks, then lower the unit so the mats sit flat on the laptop base before placing the computer.
