Pressure-optimised 120 mm case fan runs at 200–2100 RPM, delivers 67.56 CFM airflow and 0.45 Sone noise with PWM sharing technology
The ARCTIC BioniX P120 is a 120 mm case fan engineered for high static pressure, making it suitable for radiators, dense heatsinks and restrictive chassis layouts. Its PWM Sharing Technology lets multiple fans follow a single control signal so they start, stop and ramp together. The unit is supplied new in a neutral grey finish.
At the maximum 2100 RPM the fan delivers 67.56 CFM (114.79 m³/h) while registering only 0.45 Sone, so airflow remains strong without becoming audible. The sinusoidal motor design reduces vibration to roughly five percent of a conventional DC motor, keeping case resonance low across the 200–2100 RPM range. Four-pin PWM control allows the motherboard to idle the fan at 200 RPM when cooling demand drops.
Builders replacing stock case fans that struggle with restricted intakes or radiator stacks will notice steadier airflow at lower noise. The jump is worthwhile when the existing fans cannot maintain pressure through dust filters or tight fin arrays, or when synchronous speed control across several fans is desired. Users who only need basic airflow in an open mesh chassis may not benefit from the pressure-focused blade profile.

Plug the 4-pin connector into the motherboard header, then enable PWM control in BIOS so the 200–2100 RPM range and PST synchronisation actually work.
Dust the blades and frame periodically; the sinusoidal motorisation keeps vibration at roughly 5 % of a conventional DC motor, so bearing wear stays minimal.
At 2100 RPM the fan moves 67.56 CFM (114.79 m³/h) at 0.45 Sone, so acoustic output is the practical ceiling before airflow plateaus.
