Three black 120 mm case fans with PWM connectors

ARCTIC

ARCTIC F12 PWM PST 120 mm Case Fan 3 Pack Black

SKU CH-GAES-3959P

Three 120 mm PWM case fans with PST sharing, 230–1350 RPM speed range, 53 CFM airflow and 0.3 Sone noise level

  • Optimised blade design delivers strong airflow at 53 CFM
  • PWM control adjusts speed precisely between 230 and 1350 RPM
  • PST synchronises multiple fans from a single motherboard signal
  • Fluid Dynamic Bearing with oil capsule extends service life
  • Quiet operation rated at 0.3 Sone at maximum speed

Three-Pack 120 mm PWM Fans

This three-pack supplies three 120 mm case fans built for system builders who want coordinated speed control across multiple intake or exhaust positions. Each unit uses a 4-pin PWM connector so the motherboard can regulate every fan from a single header.

PWM Sharing Technology Limit

PWM Sharing Technology lets all three fans follow one control signal, but the shared header must supply enough current for the combined draw. If the header current rating is exceeded, the fans will not spin at the commanded speeds.

Airflow and Noise Headroom

At 1350 RPM each fan delivers 53 CFM or 90.1 m³/h with a noise level of 0.3 Sone, while the minimum speed drops to 230 RPM for near-silent idle. The fluid-dynamic bearing resists lubricant loss, yet the 1350 RPM ceiling caps maximum static pressure for dense radiators.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 3-pack or single fans for a standard case?

The 3-pack lets you populate front intake and rear exhaust with identical fans so PWM sharing keeps speeds perfectly matched across all positions.

What does 1350 RPM actually deliver inside a build?

At full speed the fan moves 53 CFM or 90.1 m³/h while producing only 0.3 Sone, giving strong airflow with barely audible noise.

How does the 4-pin PWM sharing limit control options?

The 4-pin connector carries one PWM signal to every fan in the chain, so all units follow the same curve from 230 to 1350 RPM without individual offsets.
