White 120 mm PWM case fan with nine translucent blades, black motor hub and four-pin connector

ARCTIC

ARCTIC F12 PWM PST 120 mm case fan White

SKU CH-BE6H-WHSN3

A 120 mm PWM case fan with PST runs at 230–1350 RPM, delivering 53 CFM airflow at 0.3 Sone

  • Quiet cooling at just 0.3 Sone maximum noise
  • PWM control matches speed to exact thermal demand
  • PST shares one signal across multiple fans
  • Fluid dynamic bearing with oil capsule extends lifespan
  • 53 CFM airflow delivers strong ventilation at 1350 RPM

120 mm PWM case fan with PST

The ARCTIC F12 PWM PST is a 120 mm case fan built for system builders who need coordinated speed control across multiple fans. Its PWM Sharing Technology lets several fans follow a single motherboard signal so they ramp together under load and stay quiet at idle. The white frame suits colour-themed builds.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

At full speed the fan reaches 1350 RPM and moves 53 CFM or 90.1 m³/h of air while producing only 0.3 Sone. The fluid-dynamic bearing with an oil capsule keeps friction low, so acoustic output stays minimal even when the curve climbs. The 4-pin PWM connector lets the motherboard tailor voltage to actual thermal demand.

Build quality and day-to-day connectors

The impeller blades are shaped to balance airflow and static pressure without adding turbulence. A 4-pin PWM plug carries both power and the shared control signal, so daisy-chaining fans requires no extra cables or splitters. The white finish resists yellowing and matches modern chassis aesthetics.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 4-pin PWM connector and what step do people get wrong?

Plug the 4-pin connector into the motherboard PWM header and connect additional fans through the PST daisy-chain cable so all fans share one control signal.

What maintenance will the fluid dynamic bearing need over its service life?

The bearing includes an oil capsule that prevents lubricant leakage, so no re-oiling or bearing maintenance is required.

At what RPM does the fan reach its 53 CFM airflow limit under sustained load?

Maximum airflow of 53 CFM is reached at 1350 RPM, with a noise level of 0.3 Sone at that speed.
