Pressure-optimised 120 mm case fan runs at 200 to 1800 RPM with 56.3 CFM airflow and 0.3 Sone noise
The ARCTIC P12 PWM is a 120 mm case fan built for static-pressure tasks such as radiators and dense heatsinks. A 4-pin PWM connector lets the motherboard control speed from 200 to 1800 RPM, dropping below 5 % duty cycle for near-silent idle. It suits builders who need focused airflow in restricted spaces.
At full speed the fan moves 56.3 CFM or 95.65 m³/h while emitting only 0.3 Sone. The Neodym-Iron-Boron magnet ring keeps coil temperature roughly 10 °C lower than previous designs, which the manufacturer states quadruples service life. Efficiency remains stable during continuous operation without thermal throttling.
This model replaces older 120 mm fans that lack PWM control or pressure-optimised blades. The jump is worthwhile when a build demands precise speed regulation and long-term reliability in high-impedance layouts. It is not for users who need larger frame sizes or higher maximum airflow figures.

At 1800 RPM the fan produces 0.3 Sone, a very low noise level that stays quiet even during continuous operation.
It plugs into any standard 4-pin PWM fan header on the motherboard for automatic speed control between 200 and 1800 RPM.
Yes, the 120 mm mounting holes match legacy cases and the 4-pin connector is backward-compatible with older PWM headers.
