Black transparent 120 mm case fan with PWM control

ARCTIC

ARCTIC P12 PWM 120 mm Pressure Fan Black Transparent

SKU CH-XKNR-ZQXJM

A 120 mm PWM case fan with a pressure-optimised blade design that runs from 200 to 1800 RPM, delivering 56.3 CFM at just 0.3 Sone

  • High static pressure for dense heatsinks and radiators
  • PWM control from 200 to 1800 RPM matches cooling to load
  • Low 0.3 Sone noise at full speed keeps systems quiet
  • Efficient PWM IC motor reduces coil temperature for longer life
  • 3 CFM airflow at 1800 RPM delivers strong cooling performance

ARCTIC P12 PWM 120 mm Pressure Fan

The ARCTIC P12 PWM is a 120 mm case fan built for static-pressure tasks such as radiators or dense heatsinks. A 4-pin PWM connector allows speed control from 200 to 1800 RPM so the system can balance airflow against noise automatically. It suits PC builders who need focused airflow in restricted spaces.

Pressure-optimised 4-pin PWM replacement

This fan replaces standard airflow-oriented 120 mm fans when the chassis or cooler presents high resistance to air movement. The jump is worth it when noise must stay low at 0.3 Sone while still delivering 56.3 CFM at full speed. A latest-generation PWM IC cuts motor temperature by 10 °C, extending service life roughly four times over conventional designs.

Builders with restrictive radiators or heatsinks

The pressure-optimised blades suit liquid-cooling radiators, mesh-front cases with filters, or tall CPU coolers where airflow fans stall. Buyers who want maximum open-air volume for unrestricted case ventilation should look at something else. Systems without a 4-pin fan header cannot use PWM regulation and will run at fixed voltage instead.

Questions about this item

Will the 120 mm fan fit a standard 120 mm case mount?

Yes, the fan measures 120 mm and matches standard 120 mm mounting holes used on most cases and radiators.

How do I connect the 4-pin PWM connector so speed control actually works?

Plug the 4-pin connector into a motherboard PWM header; the fan will then regulate between 200 and 1800 RPM automatically.

How long before the motor needs replacement?

The motor runs at a lower coil temperature, giving roughly four times the service life of conventional fans.
