A 140 mm case fan optimised for static pressure on heatsinks and radiators, running at 200 to 1700 RPM with 72.8 CFM airflow and 0.3 Sone noise
The ARCTIC P14 PWM PST is a 140 mm case fan built for static-pressure tasks. It targets builders who need focused airflow through heatsinks or liquid-cooling radiators. The four-pin PWM PST connector allows daisy-chaining so multiple fans share a single motherboard header. Buyers who want high-volume airflow for open mesh cases will find this pressure-optimised design less effective.
A single 4-pin header powers the fan and carries the PWM signal to downstream units through the PST cable. This reduces cable clutter and frees motherboard headers for other components. Speed scales from 200 to 1700 RPM with a 0 RPM mode below five percent duty cycle. Systems without a PWM header cannot vary the speed automatically.
The Neodymium-iron-boron magnet ring lowers coil temperature by roughly 10 °C, which the maker says quadruples service life versus earlier designs. At full 1700 RPM the fan moves 72.8 CFM (123.76 m³/h) at 0.3 Sone. Idle noise drops further when the 0 RPM mode engages under light loads.

The motor runs roughly 10 °C cooler than previous designs, which ARCTIC says quadruples service life, so sustained high-RPM operation stays within safe thermal limits.
At 1700 RPM the noise level is 0.3 Sone, a very low audible figure that remains quiet even during all-day loads.
A standard 4-pin PWM header is sufficient; the PST function simply daisy-chains additional fans from the same connector.
