Black 80 mm square case fan with black blades and a four-pin connector

ARCTIC

ARCTIC P8 PWM PST 80 mm Case Fan Black

SKU CH-KG0J-HXM75

An 80 mm case fan with PWM sharing technology, pressure-optimised blades and a quiet motor running at 200–3000 RPM

  • Synchronous speed control across all fans via PWM Sharing Technology
  • Pressure-optimised design delivers 23.4 CFM at 3000 RPM for heatsinks and radiators
  • Neodym-Iron-Boron magnet ring motor runs more efficiently than predecessors
  • Operating sound barely noticeable at 0.3 Sone even at 3000 RPM
  • Wide 200–3000 RPM range regulated by 4-pin PWM for precise cooling

ARCTIC P8 PWM PST 80 mm Fan

This 80 mm case fan uses PWM Sharing Technology to synchronise speed control across multiple fans. It is built for builders who need pressure-optimised airflow in tight spaces such as small-form-factor chassis or liquid-cooling radiators. The four-pin connector enables precise motherboard control from 200 to 3000 RPM.

Sustained-load behaviour with pressure optimisation

The blade geometry is tuned for static pressure so airflow remains effective when pushing through dense fin stacks or restrictive filters. At the top speed of 3000 RPM the fan delivers 23.4 CFM or 40.3 m³/h, maintaining that output continuously rather than only in short bursts. The wide 200–3000 RPM range lets the curve stay matched to load without sudden ramp spikes.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

A neodymium-iron-boron magnet ring drives the motor more efficiently than previous designs, reducing vibration and keeping operating sound to 0.3 Sone at full speed. At lower PWM duty cycles the fan is barely audible while still moving useful air through heatsinks. The efficient motor draws minimal current from the 4-pin header, leaving headroom for other system fans.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 80 mm P8 PWM PST fan when running continuously at full speed?

At 3000 RPM the fan produces 0.3 Sone, which is barely noticeable even during all-day operation.

What motherboard header does the 4-pin PWM PST connector require for synchronous control?

A standard 4-pin PWM header lets the fan share speed signals with other PWM fans through PST.

Will the pressure-optimised P8 PWM PST fit and cool effectively on my existing heatsink or radiator?

Yes, its static-pressure design delivers 23.4 CFM at 3000 RPM, making it well suited for heatsinks and radiators with restricted airflow.
