ARCTIC P8 PWM PST CO 80 mm Case Fan

SKU CH-TWJ8-4N9QZ

An 80 mm case fan with PWM Sharing Technology for synchronised speed control across multiple fans, pressure-optimised for heatsinks and radiators.

  • Synchronous fan control via PWM Sharing Technology
  • Pressure-optimised design suits heatsinks and radiators
  • Neodymium magnet motor runs more efficiently
  • Quiet operation at 0.3 Sone maximum noise
  • 200 to 3000 RPM speed range with 4-pin PWM

80 mm PWM case fan

The ARCTIC P8 PWM PST CO is an 80 mm case fan built for pressure-optimised airflow through heatsinks and radiators. It uses a 4-pin PWM interface and a dual ball bearing designed for continuous operation. A neodymium-iron-boron magnet ring motor improves efficiency over earlier designs.

Check your fan header and mounting

Verify that your motherboard or controller provides a 4-pin PWM header for speed regulation. Confirm the chassis or radiator has 80 mm mounting holes and enough clearance for the fan frame. The fan speed is regulated between 200 and 3000 RPM via the PWM signal.

Thermals noise and power draw

At 3000 RPM the fan delivers 23.4 CFM or 40.3 m³/h of airflow with a noise level of 0.3 Sone. PWM Sharing Technology allows synchronous speed control across multiple fans connected in series. The motor runs quietly even at low speeds while maintaining consistent cooling performance.

Questions about this item

Does the ARCTIC P8 PWM PST CO 80 mm Case Fan include mounting screws or a fan controller in the box?

The fan ships as a single 80 mm unit with a 4-pin PWM connector; mounting screws and any external controller are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 200–3000 RPM version or a lower-speed model for a radiator?

This model covers the full 200–3000 RPM range and is pressure-optimised, making it the appropriate choice for heatsinks and radiators where static pressure matters.

What does the 23.4 CFM airflow figure mean when the fan is installed on a CPU cooler?

At 3000 RPM the fan moves 23.4 CFM (40.3 m³/h) through the cooler fins, delivering strong static pressure while keeping noise at 0.3 Sone.
