Replacement Keyboard for Asus Laptops

This new ARENTI keyboard replaces part numbers 0KNB0-662CUS00 and NSK-UPQBC01. It fits a wide range of Asus models including the N551, N552, N751, G551, G741, G771, R555, GL551 and GL771 series. The US layout features red backlighting on black keys for low-light typing.

For Asus Owners Needing a Direct Swap

It suits buyers who need an exact layout match for the listed Asus notebooks and want integrated backlighting. It is not for users whose laptop requires a different regional layout or a non-backlit variant. Buyers without the listed model numbers should verify compatibility before ordering.

Ribbon Cable Connection Is Critical

The single specification that decides fit is the ribbon cable interface, which must seat correctly into the motherboard connector. The supplier notes that non-working keys usually indicate a loose ribbon cable rather than a defect, and recommends reseating the cable several times to ensure full contact.

Questions about this item

Does this keyboard include a mounting frame for the Asus N551 series?

The keyboard ships without a frame; you reuse the original metal bracket from the laptop when you swap the unit.

Which ribbon-cable step causes keys to stay dead after installation?

The flat ribbon must be fully seated and the retention flap locked; a partial insert leaves whole rows inactive until reseated.

Will the red backlight LEDs need replacement during the laptop's life?

The LEDs are soldered to the keyboard PCB; when brightness fades you replace the entire keyboard assembly.
