Complete WWI Game System

This Ares Wings of Glory pack delivers a complete game system for World War I aerial combat. The 40-page colour booklet presents Basic, Standard and Advanced rules alongside a wealth of Optional rules. It includes all counters needed for special models such as multi-engine bombers and balloons. Everything required to play is contained in this single package.

Tabletop Components and Setup

The product consists of a printed rulebook and cardboard counters designed for tabletop use. No electronic components, power draw or cooling requirements exist. Noise is limited to the sound of dice rolling and pieces moving across the playing surface. The pack is ready to play immediately after opening.

Upgrade From Starter Sets

This pack replaces basic starter rules with the full WWI system including advanced mechanics and optional variants. The jump is worth it when players want the complete rules for special models, special weapons and all four rule tiers in one booklet. Buyers who only need introductory scenarios or a single historical theatre may find the additional depth unnecessary.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the Wings of Glory WWI Rules and Accessories Pack for play?

Open the 40-page colour booklet, read the Basic rules first, then add Standard and Advanced sections; punch out all counters for special models and weapons before your first game.

What parts of the pack will wear out and need replacing?

The cardboard counters for multi-engine bombers, balloons, anti-aircraft, rockets and incendiary bullets are the only consumable components; the rule booklet itself does not wear out.

What limits how many players can join a single session?

The pack includes two complete counter sets, so the practical player limit is two unless you add extra counter sheets from another pack.
