Arista EDU Ultra VC RC paper for darkroom printing
Arista EDU Ultra VC RC is a variable contrast black and white enlarging paper on a medium weight polyethylene coated base. It is intended for photographers who make contact prints or enlargements in a traditional darkroom. The glossy surface delivers a high shine finish suited to exhibition or archival work. Buyers who need colour printing material or inkjet compatible media cannot use this product.
Contrast grades 0 to 5 via filter adjustment
Contrast may be adjusted from grade 0 through grade 5 using standard Ilford Multigrade or Kodak Polymax and Polycontrast filters. An enlarger colour head may also be used by varying magenta or yellow filtration. Grades 00 to 3.5 share the same speed rating of ISO P200 while grades 4 and 5 require approximately twice the exposure. The paper is designed for tungsten or tungsten quartz halogen light sources.
Safelight handling with 15 watt limit
Open the package only in a photographic darkroom illuminated by standard OC, red or sodium vapour safelights such as Thomas brand units. OC or red safelights should contain a maximum 15 watt bulb to prevent fogging. The resin coated base processes and dries quickly for efficient session workflow. Each pack contains 25 sheets in the 8x10 inch format.
