75% aluminum keyboard for competitive play

The ARK R82HE is a 75 percent wired mechanical keyboard built around Hall Effect magnetic switches. It connects via USB-C and runs at an 8000 Hz polling rate with a 256 KHz scan rate. The 80-key layout keeps arrow keys while saving desk space. Adjustable actuation from 0.1 mm to 3.4 mm and 0.005 mm rapid trigger accuracy target fast-paced titles on PC and Mac.

Sustained input consistency with magnetic switches

Hall Effect sensors eliminate physical leaf contact, so actuation points do not drift over long sessions. The 0.08 ms latency figure holds across repeated keystrokes because the 256 KHz chip polls every switch each cycle. Rapid trigger and dynamic keystroke features remain stable without debounce delay. The 5-layer filling dampens ping while keeping the plate rigid during extended use.

Replaces fixed-actuation boards for precision tuning

This keyboard upgrades users locked into a single actuation height on traditional mechanical switches. The 0.1 mm to 3.4 mm range lets one board cover both hair-trigger peeks and deliberate typing without swap hassle. Hot-swap sockets accept N-pole downward magnetic switches only. Buyers who need analog stick emulation or wireless freedom should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the Hall Effect magnetic switch keyboard produce when used all day?

The keyboard uses magnetic Hall Effect switches with no moving mechanical contacts, so it generates negligible heat and runs silently apart from the key sound; the 8000 Hz polling rate and 256 kHz scan rate draw only standard USB-C power.

What must I already own to use the 75% layout keyboard with its Type-C wired connection?

You need a device with a free USB-C port running Windows or macOS; the keyboard draws power and data over the same cable, so no separate power supply or adapter is required.

Will the 80-key R82HE work alongside my older USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse on the same PC?

Yes, the keyboard operates independently over its own USB-C link and is fully compatible with PC and Mac, so it coexists with legacy USB peripherals without conflict.
