16ft RGB+W Smart LED Tape Kit

This 16ft tape light kit combines multi-colour LEDs with a dedicated 3000K white channel for indoor accent lighting. It operates at 24 volts and draws 24 watts, and the package includes a corded power supply, an RF remote and two connectors for cutting and rejoining the strip. The kit is UL listed and requires no assembly.

RF Remote and Smart App Control

The included RF remote works through walls and provides full dimming for both colour and white outputs. A smart app adds voice control via Alexa and Google Home, letting users adjust scenes without line of sight. The tape light can be cut at marked points and reconnected with the supplied connectors, but the total length cannot be extended beyond the 16ft provided.

Replaces Single-Colour or Non-Smart Strips

Builders replacing fixed-colour or non-dimmable tape gain independent white and RGB control plus smart-home integration. The jump is worthwhile when a project needs both saturated colours and a clean 3000K white from the same run, and when voice or app control is preferred over a basic inline switch. Buyers who need runs longer than 16ft or outdoor-rated tape should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What voltage does the 423500 kit use, and how does it limit the maximum run length?

The kit runs on 24 volts and the included 16-foot reel cannot be extended past that length, even with the two supplied connectors.

What mounting surface and clearance does the tape light require for indoor installation?

The flexible tape adheres to clean, dry indoor surfaces and its low-profile design fits under cabinets, along coves or in similar tight spaces without additional brackets.

How do you pair the RF remote and the smart app during setup, and which step is often missed?

Plug in the controller, then press the remote pairing button within five seconds; the step most users skip is enabling the Wi-Fi bridge in the app before attempting voice control with Alexa or Google Home.
