Hot water circulating pump with 1/17 hp motor and 115V supply for closed-loop systems
The Armstrong COMPASS 20 is a cast-iron hot-water circulating pump rated at 1/17 hp for 115 V single-phase supply. It serves closed-loop hydronic systems in residential and light-commercial installations.
The pump uses 1-inch flanged inlet and outlet with a 6-1/2-inch face-to-face dimension, allowing direct replacement in existing flanged piping without unions. Cast-iron housing resists corrosion in closed-loop water circuits.
A direct-drive motor eliminates coupling maintenance, while the best-efficiency point of 10 gpm at 10 ft head matches typical zone-flow requirements. Flanges and unions are not included, so installers must supply or reuse them.

The pump runs on standard 115V AC single-phase power, so it connects to a regular household circuit without special wiring.
It uses 1-inch flange connections with a 6 1/2-inch face-to-face dimension, requiring matching flanges on the pipework.
Mount the pump with the motor horizontal on the return line, install flanges (not included), and ensure the flow arrow matches system direction.
