Purpose-built desktop for high-refresh 4K gaming

This system pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X eight-core processor at 3.8GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 carrying 32GB of GDDR7 memory. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 system RAM and a two-terabyte NVMe SSD complete the core platform. A 360mm liquid cooler with integrated LCD handles thermal management for the CPU.

Replaces a mid-range tower when 4K frame rates

The jump is justified when current hardware cannot sustain target refresh rates in modern titles at native resolution. Builders already running a recent eight-core AM5 chip with a high-end GPU will see diminishing returns. The 1200W power supply supports the installed graphics card without headroom for a second unit.

PCI Express x16 and DDR5 define the practical

The graphics card occupies a single PCI Express x16 slot, limiting expansion to other add-in cards. Four DDR5 slots are populated, so further memory upgrades require module replacement. NVMe storage uses the board's M.2 interface; additional SATA drives can connect via the available SATA III ports.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler with LCD fit inside the AP202 case?

The AP202 chassis is built around a 360 mm liquid cooler, so the supplied unit mounts without clearance issues.

Which CPU power cables from the 1200 W supply connect to the AM5 socket on the Ryzen 7 9700X?

Plug both 8-pin EPS connectors into the motherboard; the board will not post if only one is seated.

When the 32 GB DDR5 kit needs more capacity, which slots stay free?

All four DDR5 slots are populated at 32 GB, so any upgrade requires replacing the existing modules.
