ArsenalPC ASUS ROG GR701 Gaming Desktop

This ArsenalPC system is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core processor running at 5.7 GHz. It pairs the CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card, 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a 4 TB NVMe SSD plus 2 TB hard drive. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The 24-core CPU and 64 GB DDR5 suit creators and streamers who need strong multi-thread performance and large memory capacity. The RTX 5060 with 8 GB GDDR7 targets 1440p gaming rather than 4K ultra settings. Buyers who want more graphics memory or higher 4K frame rates should consider a system with a higher-tier GPU.

Deciding specification: RTX 5060 8 GB GDDR7

The graphics card is the single specification that decides suitability. Its 8 GB GDDR7 frame buffer determines the resolution and texture quality you can sustain in modern titles. If your workload needs more video memory for 4K gaming or professional GPU tasks, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler in the ASUS ROG GR701 case and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator to the case fan brackets, attach the pump block to the Core Ultra 9 285K socket, then connect the pump header and fan cables to the motherboard; the step often missed is routing the tubes so they do not kink against the 4 TB NVMe SSD or 2 TB HDD cages.

What maintenance will the liquid cooling and 750 W power supply need later?

Dust the radiator fins and verify fan operation periodically; the sealed loop needs no coolant refill, and the power supply only requires keeping its intake clear of debris.

What limit appears first during sustained gaming on the RTX 5060 8 GB GDDR7?

The graphics card’s 8 GB GDDR7 frame buffer fills before the 64 GB DDR5 system memory or the 750 W power delivery becomes a constraint.
