System identity and audience

This ArsenalPC ASUS ROG GR701 desktop combines an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card for 4K gaming and heavy content creation. The 20-core CPU reaches 5.4GHz while a 360mm liquid cooler manages thermals. It targets enthusiasts who want a tested, Windows 11 system that ships ready to play without assembly.

Capacity and headroom

Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD give ample space for large game libraries, video projects and multitasking. A 2TB SATA hard drive adds bulk storage for archives. The RTX 5080 provides 16GB of GDDR7 video memory for high-resolution textures. The 1000W power supply supports the installed components; workloads that demand more GPU memory or faster storage throughput will hit the ceiling of this configuration.

Upgrade path and value

The LGA 1851 socket and four DDR5 slots allow future processor and memory upgrades within the same platform. Builders moving from a system with less VRAM, slower storage or an air-cooled CPU will notice the jump in 4K frame rates and thermal headroom. The step up is worth it when current hardware cannot sustain 5.4GHz boost clocks or saturate a PCI Express x16 link with a 5080-class GPU.

Questions about this item

Can I add more DDR5 modules to the four slots already populated with 64GB DDR5?

The board provides four DDR5 slots in total and all four are occupied by the factory-installed 64GB kit, so no further modules can be added without removing existing ones.

How can I verify the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF at its 5.4GHz base frequency under load?

Monitor the CPU temperature and clock speed in a hardware utility while running a sustained workload; the cores should hold 5.4GHz without thermal throttling if the cooler is functioning correctly.

Does the 4TB NVMe SSD and 2TB HDD ship pre-installed, or must I supply any storage myself?

Both drives are factory-fitted — the 4TB NVMe SSD and the 2TB SATA III HDD are already installed and configured with Windows 11 Home, so no additional storage purchase is required.
