ArsenalPC ASUS ROG GR701 Gaming Desktop

This pre-built desktop targets enthusiasts who want a complete, liquid-cooled system ready for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and tested, so no assembly or driver setup is required. The 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K running at its 5.7 GHz base frequency under sustained loads. Builders who prefer to choose every component themselves should look elsewhere.

Storage capacity and headroom

A 4 TB NVMe SSD provides fast boot, application and game loading, while a 2 TB SATA III HDD adds bulk capacity for media libraries and backups. Both drives are installed in the chassis, leaving no free M.2 or 2.5-inch bays for additional internal storage without removing existing drives. Users who need more than 6 TB of internal space will have to rely on external solutions.

Bundled accessories and software impact

The 1000 W power supply delivers stable power to the GeForce RTX 5080 with 16 GB GDDR7 and the 128 GB DDR5 memory kit across four occupied slots. Windows 11 Home enables DirectStorage and Auto HDR for supported titles without extra licences. The ASUS ROG GR701 chassis includes Wi-Fi, RGB lighting and front-panel I/O, but no keyboard, mouse or monitor are supplied.

Questions about this item

Will my older SATA III hard drives work inside the ASUS ROG GR701 alongside the 4TB NVMe SSD?

Yes, the chassis includes SATA III ports so the existing 2TB HDD and any additional SATA drives you keep will connect directly.

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Core Ultra 9 285K at its 5.7GHz boost under load?

Open the ASUS ROG software or BIOS hardware monitor and watch the CPU package temperature while running a sustained workload; it should stay within the processor's thermal limits.

What ships in the box and what must I buy separately for the GR701?

The desktop arrives fully assembled with the 128GB DDR5, 4TB NVMe SSD, 2TB HDD, RTX 5080, 1000W PSU, 360mm liquid cooler and Windows 11 Home installed; only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed to start.
