Liquid-cooled 20-core gaming desktop

This ArsenalPC system pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF running at 5.4GHz with a 360mm liquid cooler inside an ASUS ROG GR701 chassis. The 20-core processor targets enthusiasts who need high single-thread speed and multi-thread throughput for gaming and content creation. A 750W power supply drives the complete build, which ships with Windows 11 Home installed and tested.

Thermals noise and 750W power draw

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 20-core CPU at stable temperatures during sustained loads while keeping fan noise lower than typical air-cooled equivalents. The 750W unit delivers headroom for the Radeon RX 9070 graphics card and all installed storage without running near its limit in normal gaming sessions. Component brands may vary, so exact acoustic profile and efficiency curve depend on the specific parts used in each build.

64GB DDR5 4TB NVMe 2TB SATA storage

Four populated DDR5 slots provide 64GB of memory with no free slots for further expansion unless modules are replaced. The 4TB NVMe drive handles OS and active titles, while the 2TB SATA III hard drive adds bulk capacity for media and backups. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on the NVMe volume, and the system includes WiFi and RGB lighting controlled through ASUS software.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed and what step do people get wrong?

The 360mm liquid cooler comes pre-installed on the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF in the LGA 1851 socket. The step people miss is checking that the radiator fans are oriented as intake or exhaust to match the case airflow before first boot.

What maintenance or replacement will the liquid cooler and storage need later?

The sealed 360mm liquid cooler requires no refilling; plan to replace the unit if pump noise appears after several years. The 4TB NVMe and 2TB SATA III HDD have no scheduled maintenance — monitor SMART data and swap a drive only if errors rise.

What limit shows up first under sustained use with the 750W power supply and 360mm cooler?

Under continuous load the 750W power supply will hit its output ceiling before the 360mm liquid cooler saturates, so total system draw above 750W triggers protection shutdown first.
