System purpose

This ArsenalPC desktop pairs a Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor with a Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card, 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe drive plus a 2TB hard drive. The combination targets gamers and creators who need strong single-thread speed and 16GB of GDDR6 video memory for 1440p play and content work.

Upgrade path

Moving from an 8-thread CPU or a GPU with less than 16GB of GDDR6 to this 8-core 3.8GHz chip and the RX 7800 XT is worthwhile when current hardware limits frame rates or forces texture-quality compromises. The 64GB DDR5 kit and dual-drive layout also remove the need for immediate memory or storage additions.

Sustained behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the processor at stable clocks during extended sessions, while the 750W power supply feeds both the CPU and the graphics card without throttling. The ASUS ROG GR701 case provides airflow that supports continuous load rather than short bursts.
