ArsenalPC ASUS ROG GR701 Gaming Desktop

This ArsenalPC ASUS ROG GR701 is a pre-built gaming desktop PC built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor running at 4.7GHz. It includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7 memory and 64GB of DDR5 system memory. A 360mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals while an 850W power supply drives the components. Windows 11 Home comes installed.

Suits high-refresh 1440p

Buyers who need ECC memory support or a workstation-class GPU should look elsewhere. The single CPU socket and fixed 850W power supply limit future multi-processor upgrades. Users requiring more than 2TB of NVMe storage or additional 3.5-inch drive bays beyond the included 2TB HDD will need a different chassis.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core 4.7GHz CPU

The 16-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D operating at 4.7GHz is the specification that defines this system's gaming and multitasking ceiling. Its high core count and clock speed drive frame rates in CPU-bound titles and accelerate content-creation workloads. The AM5 socket secures the processor, and the included 360mm liquid cooler is sized for its thermal output.

Questions about this item

What case clearance is required for the 360 mm liquid cooler?

The 360 mm radiator needs a case with a matching 360 mm mounting area and enough internal depth for fans and tubing.

How is the CPU installed on the AM5 socket, and what step is often missed?

Align the triangle marker on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D with the socket corner, lower the retention arm, then apply thermal paste before seating the liquid cooler block.

Which storage drive will need replacement first under heavy write workloads?

The 2 TB NVMe SSD handles the OS and games; its endurance rating determines lifespan, while the 2 TB SATA HDD is used for bulk data and sees less wear.
