Liquid-cooled gaming desktop

The ArsenalPC ASUS ROG GR701 pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D 12-core processor running at 4.4GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a hybrid 2TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD storage array sit behind a 360mm liquid cooler. The 1000W power supply and Windows 11 Home complete a system built for high-refresh 4K play and heavy multitasking.

Dual-drive storage impact

The 2TB NVMe drive loads the operating system and active titles in seconds, while the 2TB SATA III hard drive holds larger libraries and media without consuming fast flash capacity. This split keeps boot times short and game installs spacious, letting you move less-used files to the mechanical volume when the solid-state side fills.

360mm cooler and connectivity

A 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler handles the 12-core CPU heat load, keeping clock speeds stable during extended sessions. Wi-Fi and RGB lighting are integrated, and the RTX 5080 connects through a PCI Express x16 slot with 16GB of GDDR7 memory for modern rendering workloads.

Questions about this item

When will the 360mm liquid cooler need its coolant refreshed?

The sealed 360mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its service life; no coolant changes are required.

Which component hits its thermal ceiling first during extended gaming?

The RTX 5080 GPU with 16GB GDDR7 typically reaches its thermal limit before the Ryzen 9 9900X3D under sustained loads.

How loud is the 1000W power supply fan when the system runs all day?

The 1000W PSU fan stays near idle speed during typical gaming, so system noise is dominated by the 360mm radiator fans instead.
