Liquid-cooled Ryzen 9 desktop

The ArsenalPC ASUS ROG GR701 is a new gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz. It pairs the CPU with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card equipped with 16GB GDDR6 memory. The system includes 64GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the machine ships tested and ready to play.

360mm liquid cooler and 850W supply

A 360mm liquid cooler handles thermals for the 16-core CPU under sustained load. The Radeon RX 9070 XT connects via PCI Express x16 and draws power from the 850W unit. Wi-Fi and RGB lighting are integrated. Component brands may vary across builds.

Dual-drive storage and four DDR5 slots

The 1TB NVMe drive provides fast boot and application access while the 2TB HDD adds bulk capacity for game libraries. All four DDR5 memory slots are populated, leaving no free slots for expansion without removing modules. The AM5 socket supports the installed Ryzen 9 9000 Series processor. Buyers who want more internal drive bays or additional memory headroom should consider a different chassis.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid cooler in the ASUS ROG GR701 case, and which step do people get wrong?

Mount the radiator with tubes at the bottom or side so the pump stays below the highest coolant level — the step most people miss is orientating the block before tightening the AM5 brackets.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply need later?

The sealed 360mm loop requires no refill; plan to replace the whole unit if pump noise appears after several years, and keep the 850W PSU dust-free — capacitors typically last a decade under normal loads.

What limit shows up first under sustained gaming on the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Radeon RX 9070 XT?

The 360mm liquid cooler will hit its thermal ceiling before the 850W power supply reaches its output limit, so prolonged 4.3GHz all-core boosts are constrained by coolant temperature.
