Ready-to-game desktop with liquid-cooled i7-14700KF

This ArsenalPC system pairs a 20-core Intel Core i7-14700KF running at 3.4GHz with a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed, 32GB of DDR5 memory and a combined 2TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB SATA HDD. The build is assembled in an ASUS TUF GT301 chassis and includes WiFi and RGB lighting.

240mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals under load

A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the 20-core processor at working temperatures during extended sessions. The 850W power supply delivers stable current to the RTX 5070 with its 12GB GDDR7 frame buffer and the rest of the platform. Fan curves on the closed-loop cooler and case fans keep acoustic output low at typical gaming loads.

Four DDR5 slots leave room for memory expansion

The motherboard provides four DDR5 slots, all currently populated, so future upgrades require module replacement rather than simple addition. The NVMe drive occupies one M.2 socket while the 2TB hard drive uses a SATA III port, leaving additional M.2 and SATA connectors free for extra storage. The PCI Express x16 slot is filled by the RTX 5070, so a second graphics card cannot be fitted.

Questions about this item

How is the 240mm liquid cooler mounted on the i7-14700KF, and what step do builders often miss?

The cooler attaches to the LGA 1700 socket using the supplied bracket; the step most often missed is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before securing the pump block.

What maintenance will the 240mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply need later?

Clean the radiator fins and fans every six to twelve months; the sealed loop requires no refill, and the PSU only needs occasional dust removal from its intake.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the RTX 5070 with 12GB GDDR7?

The 12GB GDDR7 frame buffer fills before the GPU compute units saturate, so texture-heavy 4K titles hit the memory ceiling first.
