Installation and common issues

The PC is ready to use after connecting power, display and peripherals. Component brands may vary from the images shown. Verify that the 850W power supply cables reach your chosen GPU power connectors. Ensure the 240mm radiator mounting points align with your case fan locations if you ever relocate the cooler.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Confirm your monitor has a compatible input for the RTX 5070 output ports. Check that your desk or shelf can accommodate the ASUS TUF GT301 chassis dimensions. Verify your network infrastructure supports 2.5G Ethernet if you plan to use the wired connection. Ensure you have a free mains socket for the 850W PSU.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 240mm liquid cooler is keeping the i7-14700KF at safe temperatures under load?

Open the side panel of the ASUS TUF GT301 case and check that the pump and both radiator fans are spinning. Then run a CPU stress test in Windows 11 Home; the 20-core processor should hold its 3.4GHz base clock without thermal throttling.

Which components are included and which must I purchase separately for this build?

The box contains the complete desktop: Core i7-14700KF, 64GB DDR5, RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7, 2TB NVMe SSD, 2TB HDD, 850W PSU, 240mm liquid cooler, WiFi card, 2.5G Ethernet, Windows 11 Home and RGB lighting inside the ASUS TUF GT301 chassis. Only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed separately.

Should I choose the 64GB DDR5 configuration or a smaller capacity for 1440p gaming with the RTX 5070?

The 64GB DDR5 kit matches the 20-core i7-14700KF and 12GB GDDR7 GPU, giving headroom for modern titles, streaming and background apps at 1440p. A smaller kit would limit multitasking and future-proofing without saving meaningful cost on this platform.
