System identity

This ArsenalPC desktop pairs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor with an RTX 5070 graphics card and 64GB of DDR5 memory. It targets gamers and creators who want a ready-to-play Windows 11 system with high core counts and modern GPU memory.

Build and connectivity

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while an 850W power supply feeds the components inside an ASUS TUF GT301 chassis. The board provides WiFi and RGB lighting, and storage combines a 4TB NVMe drive with a 2TB SATA III hard drive for capacity and speed.

Upgrade context

The configuration replaces older AM4 or early AM5 builds that lack DDR5 bandwidth and 12GB GDDR7 video memory. The jump is worthwhile when current hardware cannot sustain 16-core workloads or drive modern titles at high settings without compromise.

Questions about this item

What PCI Express interface does the RTX 5070 use, and what bandwidth does that cap the GPU at?

The graphics card connects through a PCI Express x16 slot, giving the RTX 5070 full x16 bandwidth for gaming and compute workloads.

What clearance does the 240 mm liquid cooler need inside the ASUS TUF GT301 case?

The 240 mm radiator mounts at the front of the GT301 chassis; verify the case supports a 240 mm radiator with fans before adding extra components.

How is the DDR5 memory installed, and which step do builders often miss?

The 64 GB DDR5 kit fills all four DIMM slots; the common mistake is not seating each module until the retention clips click on both ends.
