Gaming desktop for high-performance users

This ArsenalPC system combines an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. It includes 128GB of DDR5 memory, a 4TB NVMe SSD, a 2TB SATA III HDD, and a 240mm liquid cooler. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the 850W power supply supports the build.

AM5 platform limits memory lanes and PCIe expansion

The AM5 socket supports a single CPU with 16 cores and 64-bit processing. Four DDR5 slots are populated, leaving no room for additional modules. The PCI Express x16 interface carries the RTX 5070 and its 12GB GDDR7 frame buffer, so a second graphics card cannot be added without sacrificing the primary slot.

12GB GDDR7 decides 4K texture headroom

The RTX 5070 ships with 12GB of GDDR7 video memory. That capacity sets the practical ceiling for high-resolution texture packs and multi-monitor workloads. Buyers who need more VRAM for professional rendering or future titles should look at cards with larger frame buffers.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 4 TB NVMe or the 2 TB HDD for my main games?

Install active titles on the 4 TB NVMe for fastest load times; use the 2 TB HDD for media and backups.

What does the Ryzen 9 9950X 4.3 GHz base clock deliver in daily use?

Sixteen cores at 4.3 GHz give strong single-thread speed and heavy multi-thread throughput for gaming and content work.

How does the PCI Express x16 link affect the RTX 5070 12 GB GDDR7?

The x16 slot provides full bandwidth so the 12 GB GDDR7 GPU runs without interface bottleneck.
