System identity

This ArsenalPC desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor at 4.3 GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB GDDR7 graphics card. It targets enthusiasts who want high frame rates at 1440p or 4K and creators who need 128 GB DDR5 for heavy multitasking. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on the 2 TB NVMe boot drive.

Thermals and power

A 240 mm liquid cooler handles the CPU heat load while the 850 W power supply feeds the whole platform. In typical gaming sessions the cooling loop keeps temperatures steady and fan noise stays low. The PSU provides headroom for the GPU and all four populated memory slots without running near its limit.

Storage and expandability

The build includes a 2 TB NVMe SSD for the operating system and active projects plus a 2 TB SATA III HDD for bulk media. All four DDR5 slots are occupied, so adding more memory requires replacing modules. The case offers standard expansion bays and PCI Express x16 clearance for future GPU upgrades.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240mm liquid cooler on the AM5 socket, and which step do builders often miss?

Mount the supplied AM5 bracket, apply thermal paste, seat the cold plate on the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, then connect the pump header and both fan headers to the motherboard — skipping either fan header is the common mistake.

What maintenance will the 240mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply need later?

Dust the radiator fins and both fans every six months; check coolant level only if temperatures rise, and clean the PSU intake filter annually to keep airflow steady.

What limit appears first when the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5070 run sustained loads?

The 240mm radiator reaches its heat‑dissipation ceiling before the 850W power supply hits its output ceiling, so coolant temperature becomes the first bottleneck.
