AMD Ryzen 7 9700X desktop for 1440p gaming

This pre-built system pairs an 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X running at 3.8 GHz with a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card holding 12 GB of GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64 GB of DDR5 RAM across four slots and a combined 4 TB NVMe plus 2 TB SATA III storage array. Windows 11 Home is installed and the machine is liquid cooled for immediate use.

240 mm liquid cooling under sustained load

A 240 mm all-in-one cooler keeps the Ryzen 7 9700X at stable temperatures during extended gaming or rendering sessions. The 850 W power supply delivers consistent current to the CPU and RTX 5070 without throttling. Airflow inside the ASUS TUF GT302 chassis supports the liquid loop so clock speeds hold steady over long periods rather than dropping after a short burst.

PCI Express x16 and NVMe practical limits

The RTX 5070 connects through a PCI Express x16 slot, so its throughput is bound by that interface generation. The 4 TB NVMe drive operates at the speed its controller and the platform allow, while the 2 TB hard drive runs at SATA III rates. No faster storage or graphics interface is present on this motherboard.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 240 mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 9700X during long sessions?

The 240 mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 3.8 GHz 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X under sustained load, keeping temperatures lower than typical air coolers while running quieter at idle.

What peripherals do I need to start using this PC right away?

Only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are required; Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, Wi-Fi is built in, and the RTX 5070 provides DisplayPort and HDMI outputs for any modern display.

Can I keep my older SATA SSDs or hard drives alongside the 2 TB HDD already installed?

Yes, the motherboard includes additional SATA III ports so existing SATA drives can be added next to the factory 2 TB HDD without adapters.
