Built for high-end gaming and content creation

This desktop combines an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. The 16-core CPU runs at a 4.7GHz base frequency on the AM5 platform. It targets enthusiasts who need strong single-thread and multi-thread performance for modern titles and creative workloads. Buyers who require ECC memory or workstation-certified drivers should look elsewhere.

Storage capacity and headroom

A 2TB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and application load times, while a 2TB SATA HDD adds bulk capacity for media libraries and backups. The 128GB DDR5 memory kit fills all four slots, leaving no room for further RAM expansion without replacing modules. Users planning large-scale virtualisation or datasets exceeding 4TB of fast storage will need external solutions.

Thermals noise and power draw

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load under sustained gaming sessions. The system draws power from a 1200W supply rated for the RTX 5090 and supporting components. Fan curves are tuned for a balance of airflow and acoustic comfort during typical use. Heavy compute workloads will increase pump and fan speeds accordingly.

Questions about this item

Will my existing SATA III drives work with the 2TB HDD bay in this Ryzen 7 9800X3D system?

Yes, the 2TB HDD uses a SATA III interface, so any standard SATA III drive you keep can connect to an available motherboard port and power cable.

How can I verify the RTX 5090 is running at PCI Express x16 after I build?

Open GPU-Z or Task Manager Performance tab; both will show the link width as x16 when the GeForce RTX 5090 is seated correctly in the primary slot.

What cooling and power items are included versus what I must source for the 128GB DDR5 configuration?

The box contains the 240mm liquid cooler mounted on the CPU, a 1200W power supply installed, Windows 11 Home, and the 128GB DDR5 memory populated across four slots; you only need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
