ArsenalPC Gigabyte C301 GLASS Gaming Desktop

This system pairs an Intel Core i9-14900KF 24-core processor at 3.2GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card holding 12GB GDDR7 memory. It includes 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB NVMe SSD. A 240mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply support the build. Windows 11 Home is installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The specification targets gamers and creators who need high frame rates at 1440p or 4K and fast storage for large project files. Buyers who want more storage capacity, a different graphics tier, or a smaller chassis should consider other configurations. The 64GB DDR5 memory suits heavy multitasking and virtualisation workloads.

The spec that decides fit

The RTX 5070 with 12GB GDDR7 determines whether this PC matches the intended workload. It sets the ceiling for modern gaming performance, ray-traced titles, and GPU-accelerated creative applications. If the target resolution or software demands exceed this card's capability, a different GPU tier is required.

Questions about this item

How is the 240mm liquid cooler installed in the Gigabyte C301 case, and which step is most often missed?

The 240mm liquid cooler mounts to the case fan positions; the step most often missed is connecting the pump header to the motherboard CPU_FAN connector so the BIOS can monitor pump speed.

What maintenance or replacement will the 240mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply need later?

The 240mm liquid cooler is a sealed unit that typically requires no refill; the 850W power supply may need replacement after several years if capacitor ageing reduces output stability.

Which limit appears first on the Core i9-14900KF and RTX 5070 during sustained load with the 240mm cooler?

The 240mm radiator reaches its heat-dissipation capacity first, causing the Core i9-14900KF to throttle before the RTX 5070 hits its own thermal limit.
