High-end gaming desktop with liquid cooling

This ArsenalPC system pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900KF running at 3.2GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card equipped with 16GB GDDR7 memory. A 240mm liquid cooler manages processor thermals inside the Gigabyte C301 GLASS chassis. The build includes 128GB of DDR5 memory across four slots and a 2TB NVMe SSD, powered by a 1000W supply with Windows 11 Home installed.

Step up from mid-range RTX 5060 configurations

The RTX 5080 delivers substantially higher graphics performance than the RTX 5060 found in similar mid-tier builds, while the i9-14900KF replaces a 20-core i7-14700KF for heavier multi-threaded workloads. The 1000W power supply supports this increased headroom over 750W units. This jump is worth it when 4K gaming, ray-traced titles or sustained creative rendering demand the extra GPU memory and compute capacity.

Suited for enthusiasts targeting 4K

Buyers who need maximum frame rates at high resolution, large VRAM buffers for content creation or 128GB memory for virtualisation will match this specification. Those building for 1080p or 1440p gaming only, or who require more than 2TB of fast storage out of the box, should look at alternative configurations. Component brands may vary from the images shown.

Questions about this item

Will the 240mm liquid cooler fit inside the Gigabyte C301 GLASS case?

The C301 GLASS chassis is designed to accommodate a 240mm liquid cooler as standard, which is the exact unit supplied with this system.

How is the Intel Core i9-14900KF installed on the LGA 1700 socket, and what step is often missed?

The CPU is factory-seated with its integrated heat spreader contacting the cold plate; the step some builders miss is removing the protective plastic film from the cooler base before mounting.

When will the 128GB DDR5 memory need replacement or upgrade?

The four DDR5 slots are fully populated at 128GB, so any future capacity increase requires replacing all modules rather than adding to empty slots.
